A heart surgeon, for instance, may prolong the life of a man with a failing heart by performing a transplant. The recipient may enjoy life for a certain period, but those who received new hearts from God will enjoy eternal life.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why do we need a new heart when we have a physically healthy one? Human hearts have become rebellious and hardened against God since the fall of man (Genesis 3:1\u20135). Ito\u2019y sa kabila ng pagmamahal ng Diyos sa tao, na nilikha Niya sa Kanyang imahe (Genesis 1:27). Because of sin, the value of our being made in God\u2019s image disappeared and our relationship with Him was broken. Nais ng Diyos na ibalik ito kaya Siya nangako ng bagong puso at bagong espiritu.&nbsp;Inihayag ito ng Diyos sa propetang si Ezekiel habang bihag ang mga Israelita sa Babylonia bunga ng kanilang rebelyon&nbsp;(Ezekiel 36:27\u201328).&nbsp;<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This promise&nbsp;is a foreshadowing of the change we will experience when we receive Christ into our lives and accept His free gift of salvation.
