But He didn\u2019t spend that in a busy town square or the city gate where people gathered. Instead, the Bible says that He went to quiet places like mountains (Mark&nbsp;6:46) or gardens (Mark&nbsp;14:35).<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bakit ito ginawa ni&nbsp;Jesus? Siguro dahil pinangalagaan Niya ang katahimikan para mas malasap ang oras. Sa bundok o sa hardin, walang makakaistorbo sa Kanya. In fact, even when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane with Peter, James, and John, He went a little further away from them so He could have a more intimate and personal alone time&nbsp;with God.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At times, the four walls of our house, cubicle, or office can be distracting. There are people around you working, talking, or making noise. You can even hear the&nbsp;endless notifications on their devices. These sources of distraction&nbsp;can prevent you from having quality time with our Heavenly Father. It\u2019s like talking to a loved one while your smartphone isn\u2019t on silent.&nbsp;Every sound or call will take your attention away from the other&nbsp;person!<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when you\u2019re in nature, there aren\u2019t any distractions like that. You\u2019ll feel the wind\u2019s steady, cool breeze all over you. You\u2019ll hear birds gently chirping in the distance, flying from one place to another. You can focus on God\u2019s Word. Best of all, these elements of nature&nbsp;will remind you of Him. Remember, God created everything (Genesis 1:1\u201331)!<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How about going to&nbsp;a garden or park with your Bible, notebook,&nbsp;and&nbsp;pen, and asking God to meet you there? Tell Him you want to know Him more. Ask Him to reveal more of Him to you.
