Madilim, malamig ang hangin, at malakas ang hampas ng alon. Tapos, may makikita kang taong naglalakad sa ibabaw ng tubig. Matatakot ka talaga at mapapasigaw ng \u2018Multo!\u2019 Kahit anong astig mo, titiklop ka sa takot; kahit anong tapang mo, manginginig ka sa kaba.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ganito ang naranasan ng mga disciple (Mateo 14:22\u201326). Ngunit nang sabihin ni Jesus na, \u201cHuwag kayong matakot, ako ito!\u201d naglakas-loob si Peter na pumunta sa kinaroroonan ni Jesus. Nang mapansin niya na malakas ang hangin, natakot siya at nagsimulang lumubog. In this desperate situation, alam ni Peter ang gagawin at sino ang dapat tawagin. He could have called other disciples to save him from drowning, or he could swim back to the boat, but he trusted the Lord and cried, \u201cLord, save me!\u201d<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marami tayong takot sa buhay, \u2018yung iba takot sa daga o ipis, \u2018yung iba naman may fear of heights o takot sa masikip na lugar. Others are afraid of dying, being neglected or forgotten, while some are afraid of the future. In all of these, sabi ni Jesus, \u201cHuwag kayong matakot, ako ito!\u201d Parang sinasabi Niya, \u201cRelax ka lang, sagot kita!\u201d<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For as long as we have Jesus in our hearts, we are safe \u2014 whether it\u2019s in the wilderness or in the mountains, in the fiery furnace or in the lion\u2019s den, in prison or in the midst of a raging sea. Anumang sitwasyon at pagkakataon, lagi nating kasama si Jesus, sapat na ang mga salitang \u201cIt is I!\u201d para maalis ang ating mga takot at pangamba. In the original Greek it\u2019s&nbsp;Ego Eimi, two powerful and significant words asserting Jesus\u2019 power, sovereignty, and deity.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So whenever fear creeps in, let\u2019s remind ourselves of His promise in Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV): \u201cThe Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:25%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-foreground-color has-primary-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-a83c80e3d9082995e0dbfb1ef34e501c\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">LET&#8217;S PRAY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em><em>Lord Jesus, tulungan po Ninyo kaming harapin ang aming mga takot at pangamba sa buhay. Gamitin Ninyo po ang mga ito upang mapatatag ang aming pananalig sa Inyo. Kapag kami po\u2019y natatakot, remind us that You are there, ready to embrace us and calm the storm in us.
